Expressions of interest are welcome from staff currently employed by Connolly Hospital as permanent Staff Nurse for the position of Staff Nurse, Outpatient Department. 

The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting. The staff nurse will provide holistic, person centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.

The Outpatient  Department currently operates on a Monday to Friday basis. However, this may be subject to change based on future demands. Current operating times are between 07:30 and 18:30hrs.

Employees from across HSE divisions who are permanently employed at the grade advertised are eligible to apply for this expression of interest, but should only do so subject to having your line manager’s approval and confirmation from the service manager that you will be released from your post if successful. (Please note, approval is discretionary and you may be refused.) Reassignment will be on a grade to grade basis only and current remuneration will apply.
