During the appointment the successful candidate will, under the supervision of the Consultant / Clinical Director / Employer, participate in and deliver a quality health care service. Appointees will be required to actively engage in continuing professional education and development in accordance with organisational / professional requirements.  

The successful candidate will be employed as a Consultant in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine in the Department of Rheumatology at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. The Consultant will be work as part of the Rheumatology team to provide inpatient and outpatient Rheumatology care. The Consultant will also participate in the general medical on call rota and be responsible for ongoing inpatient management of general medical patients under their care.
